Thank you to our 1,200 employees for recognizing Iowa Select Farms as a Top Workplace for the third year in a row!
Not only did we again earn a spot in the Top 25 “Large Iowa Employer” category, we continued to improve our year-on-year results for how employees think and feel about our company vision, values and beliefs, our connection with our people, our operational effectiveness and the direction the company is going.
We're especially humbled by the collective response to “My job makes me feel like I am part of something meaningful” which leapt up seven percentage points compared to 2017 results, and coming in a whopping 16 percent above the average of similar-sized companies.
Many comments shed light on why employees agree so strongly. “People have a special connection with farming and agriculture. It’s honorable, and many of us grew up on farms to know the character and drive it takes.”
