The Wright County Sheriff’s Department received 5 kits from the Deb and Jeff Hansen Foundation to help with policing efforts. Henry’s Heroes Law Enforcement Comfort Kits allow law enforcement officers to provide comforting items to children in distress. Compact in design, the kits are designed to be portable and easily tossed into an officer’s cruiser as part of their standard equipment.
“Many times our Deputies encounter kids that are actively involved in some kind of crisis, whether it be a domestic situation between their parents or an accident involving their families,” said Chief Deputy Jeremy Hogrefe. “The Henry's Heroes Comfort Kits will be a wonderful gift to give these children to hopefully lighten their situation. On behalf of the Wright County Sheriff's Office and myself, we would like to extend a sincere thank you!”
